Matt joined The PeterSan Group after spending time recruiting with a national recruitment firm in NYC and Toronto, Canada. His practice focuses on advising and placing associates in law firms and in-house positions in New York and across Canada. He holds a J.D. from the University of Ottawa and an undergraduate degree from McGill University. Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Matt practiced as a corporate/commercial and real estate lawyer on Bay Street.
Matt is based in New York where he lives with his husband Alexander. He loves Broadway (although his voice is average) and his favorite show is Avenue Q. Matt is also a football and hockey enthusiast (Go Habs!). Matt frequently participates in long distance Ironman triathlon races. To date he’s completed 4 full Ironmans and 10 half Ironmans (but don’t look at his times, they won’t impress you).
