
Practice Manager
Thomas Goubadia is a Practice Manager with The PeterSan Group, where he focuses on business development and legal workforce solutions across both law firm and in-house environments. He partners closely with clients and candidates to bridge immediate legal talent needs with long-term, business-driven outcomes, supporting permanent and interim placements that help legal teams operate with speed, precision, and flexibility.
Thomas brings a multidisciplinary background spanning legal recruiting, operations management, healthcare staffing, and financial services. Prior to joining The PeterSan Group, he served as Managing Director of Business Development at Major, Lindsey & Africa, where he advised law firms and corporate legal departments on complex legal hiring strategies. Earlier in his career, he held progressive leadership roles at Maxim Healthcare Group, including Operations Manager and Business Development Manager, where he built, scaled high-performing recruiting teams, and delivered talent solutions in fast-paced, highly regulated environments.
Known for his adaptable, solutions-oriented approach, Thomas is particularly skilled at helping organizations design interim legal benches, accelerate hiring timelines, and reduce reliance on outside counsel for repeatable work. His ability to align legal talent strategy with broader operational and financial objectives makes him a trusted partner to general counsel and firm leadership alike.
Thomas holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from William Paterson University of New Jersey and associate degrees in Public Health and Health Care Administration and Management from the Globe Institute of Professional Studies.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys traveling, with Jamaica being his favorite place to unwind. His dream trip includes stops in Dubai, Greece, Tokyo, and the Maldives.
